Description

This is a quick, no-prep assessment to do with students.

This is a great resource to use with students when you want them to reflect on their drama practice. This can be used in the middle of a semester or at the end, and is used to assess their current achievement and set goals for the future. It also gives students an opportunity to communicate areas in drama in which they would like to learn more about.

Reflection is such an important part of Drama because it allows students to think about their theatrical process and identify areas of strength and weakness. Reflecting is really important after closing a show or a performance, but can be just as valuable when completing an exercise or classroom activity. This rubric is a great way to complete some formative assessment with students and set goals for the future.
