This is a list of students most FAVOURITE games to start your year off right in drama class.
I tend to not call them "ice breakers" because students hate the IDEA of these, but that's what these are meant to be - to get kids interacting and having a blast.
It includes all my "GO TO" games that are perfect for getting students energized, excited, and out of their shells in drama class...which is key to establish within the first week.
These games can also be used throughout the whole course, whenever you have time, or when you get to the IMPROV unit of study.
Once you play some of them for the first time, students will beg you to play again and again :)
Most of them are quick, and don't require any set-up so they can played on the fly.
