What educators are saying

Did this as a Halloween special. A little above my students level, but worked okay as instructional.
My students were reading the play Dracula. These activities helped them to better understand the book.

Description

Use this Informational Text Nonfiction reading comprehension unit comparing Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula and Vlad Dracula III (Vlad the Impaler) with even your most reluctant readers. Use the Reading Activities and Critical Thinking Questions to prepare your students for high stakes tests. Why should the young ones have all the fun?

Choose to print out the reading and activities using the .pdf file or go paperless with the Google Slides version. Instructions for using Google Slides in your classroom is included.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING The Dracula reading is written at a 6th to 8th grade reading level, depending on which method is used to calculate it. It is not intended for general education high school students who are reading at grade level. I use it with my High School Intermediate and advanced level English Language Learners and my Special Education Students who require reading scaffolds.
