Description
If you haven’t heard about International Dot Day, which is celebrated on September 15th, you can read more about it here at http://goo.gl/2kgvfS .
This is a great way to incorporate a fabulous story, The Dot by Peter Reynolds, as well as some wonderful stations in your library or your classroom!
Included in this packet are 9 different station signs and directions, as well as examples to post for your students. I’ve also provided links to additional activities that you can print to use with these stations. Finally, I included a set of blank station signs so that you can create your own activities.
Updated 9/17/2017 to include station signs without station numbers so that you can do just a few of them and students won't notice the missing station numbers. :)
Station #1: The Magic Dot
Station #2: Dazzling Dots
Station #3: Quiver's Dot Day
Station #4: Morse Code
Station #5: Exploring Braille
Station #6: Dot Trees
Station #7: Aboriginal Hand Art
Station #8: Paint Like Seurat
Station #9: Dot Music
Hope you enjoy this as much as my students did!
Sandy
