Description

Grade 1-2 Writing Project to celebrate International Dot Day as a class.

Print pages on card stock or thick paper. Each student gets a page to add to our classroom book!

Read the book "The Dot" as a class and then brainstorm ideas. I used a black Bingo Dabber and put it in the middle of their page. Students then illustrated what that dot could be ( Ex. a car, eyes on an alligator, a balloon). After illustrating, they would write about what they created!

Binding the book together to create a classroom book! Students loved when it was their turn to take the class book home and show off their hard work.
