Description

In light of recent dramatic events happening around the world, this project will provide a learning opportunity for students to recognize how exponential functions can be used to model real world and fantasy scenarios. This product contains a 2-page student handout, a grading rubric, as well as an answer key (for teacher use only). The scenarios require students to model the following: 1) the number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 2) mass power loss, 3) spread of harmful chemicals in the air, 4) water contamination, 5) zombie attacks, 6) spread of wildfire, and 7) economic downfall.
