Description
NO PREP-Your students will discuss and analyze the Dominican Republic’s government & its citizens solution to deforestation. Students will learn about deforestation and the DR's plan to work with a non-profit 'Plan Sierra' to combat deforestation on the island. Students will explore DR and learn of it's beauty while connecting living environment science prompts. My students love this day-I decorate the classroom in a Dominican flag and there is even a video that gives us a Bachata Break! There are over 20 slides devoted to just test prep related to deforestation.
