3) Corresponding dollar up worksheets for the interactive books
These interactive books will help your students practice the skill of utilizing the dollar up strategy for rounding money. Each page in these booklets have a number line to provide students with a visual cue that will help them with the rounding up strategy. For example, if the item costs $1.88 then the student will circle the number one on the number line, then draw an arrow to the number 2 (signaling that $1.88 rounds up to $2.00). This interactive book will need to be printed, laminated, and have Velcro placed on it in order for it to be complete. You can also just simply print it out and have your students utilize it as a cut and paste activity, the possibilities are endless.The corresponding worksheets go hand in hand with the interactive books.
