As part of your Community Helpers Unit, you may want to incorporate a "Doctor Visit Checklist" activity to engage your students in playing doctor's office while learning important health-related concepts. The Doctor Visit Checklist bundle includes three medical checklists.

The activity can start with a brief discussion of the role of doctors and the importance of health check-ups. Then, students can take turns playing doctor and patient, using the doctor checklist to guide their pretend medical exam. The checklist can include items such as taking temperature, measuring blood pressure, checking for any injuries or illnesses, and discussing healthy habits.

Can be used both in the classroom and at home.
