What educators are saying

Rather than lecture in my honors class, I assigned this project and let the students work out the divisions of the nervous system on their own with some guidance from me. Worked perfectly!
I love the ability of this activity to create a visual resource for students. They enjoyed the flexibity to create their own designs.

Description

For this project students will make a poster showing the various divisions of the Nervous System in an illustrative flow chart. My students LOVE taking this one and running with it each and every year.

By making the poster they learn how the different divisions flow together and what each division is responsible for controlling within the human body. The adding of a picture part to the flow chart will tap into their artistic and visual side and helping them draw connections.
