What educators are saying

I used these for my homeschooled daughter. She loves games, so this is a great way to get practice in.

Description

This 29 page game set has 12 game boards to help your students practice their 2 digit by 1 digit division using numbers 0-12.

Help Students Practice Their Math Facts in a Fun and Engaging Way

Fact fluency is one of the most important steps in laying a solid mathematical foundation. It helps students become automatic with the fact knowledge which can free up more space in their working memory. Fact fluency also helps to lessen confusion in higher-level math concepts.

Many Different Options Included to Reach a Variety of Learners

Connect Five Division Fact Fluency game includes game boards covering facts 1-12. They are separated by individual facts (1's, 2's, 3's, up to 10's). There are also 3 game boards of mixed facts as a review.

There are 12 game cards total. These game cards are perfect to use in partners, small groups, math centers and more! Print out each page and laminate if possible. Students can use wipe off markers, small math manipulatives or the tokens provided to mark off their spaces.

How to Play:

Students take turns picking a question to answer. If they get the answer correct, they get to place their marker on that square. If they get it incorrect, they don't get to place a marker and it is the other players turn to choose where to go. The students are trying to get five markers (going any way) in a row. If they can't get five in a row, then the person with the most markers on the board total wins.

Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers, using strategies based on place value and the properties of operations. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
Find whole-number quotients and remainders with up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
Fluently multiply multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
Find whole-number quotients of whole numbers with up to four-digit dividends and two-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
Interpret whole-number quotients of whole numbers, e.g., interpret 56 ÷ 8 as the number of objects in each share when 56 objects are partitioned equally into 8 shares, or as a number of shares when 56 objects are partitioned into equal shares of 8 objects each. For example, describe a context in which a number of shares or a number of groups can be expressed as 56 ÷ 8.
