Dividing fractions animation video with KFC mnemonic

This short video animates the mnemonic KFC to help students remember the rule for dividing fractions. KFC stands for Keep Flip Change. This method will ensure that students never forget to change the division sign to a multiplication sign and do the reciprocal of the second fraction. This video is great for English learners and students with learning disabilities because there are no words to read, the graphic will explain everything. It is short enough so that you can have your students watch it several times in class.

Have the students watch the video and then verbalize the rule to a partner before you tell them the rule. You can replay the video several times to have them focus on different parts of the problem.
