Looking for an engaging, no-prep activity to practice applying the distributive property with and without negatives? Students will put together 16 puzzle pieces so that each problem is next to its answer in this fun digital and print puzzle activity.

This download actually includes 2 puzzles for the price of 1 - one full activity with negatives included and one full activity without negatives included!

There are 6 versions of the puzzle included, 3 with negatives and 3 without negatives. Level 1 for each type has no extra problems or answers around the edges. Level 2 has extra problems and answers around the edges but gives the position of the starting piece. Level 3 has extra problems and answers around the edges and does not give the position of the starting piece. You can choose one to use or use all as differentiation. The 3 negative levels have the same problems and the same solution, and the 3 no-negative levels have the same problems and the same solution..
