Description

Use this FREE 11-page packet with 12 language arts remote-learning assignments to keep your middle school and high school students focused and learning during an extended school closure.

• 12 English/language arts activities (low-tech & no-tech)

• No prep! Just print/post/email and teach (easy for parents to administer)

• Self-paced and repeatable (routine can be used over and over again, as needed)

• Each activity works as a standalone activity or as a supplement to other studies

• For grades 7 to 12

This pack of distance learning/home study activities are designed to work for students who have limited internet access. About half of these activities can be completed without access to technology, but the other half will require web browsing and video streaming capabilities as available on most phones and tablets.

These activities work not only as standalone materials for emergency e-learning plans, but also can be used to supplement other English curriculum supplied by your school’s administration.

Note: Most of these activities are available as individual free product downloads in my shop and you may already have some of these worksheets in your filing cabinet or on your computer’s hard drive. I’ve bundled them together here to help streamline lesson prep and resource harvesting for teachers and homeschool parents. A description and calendar for an additional two-week sub plan is also available (click here!) on my blog.

Obviously, it is stressful to build lesson plans when natural disasters or illnesses strike. I hope these materials ease your prep load and give your heart some peace during a difficult time.
