Discussing Works of Art

German activity where students research works of art by German speaking artists. Students pick two works of art and find out information about the piece and artists, then explain why they find the piece "schön."

Includes:

- Intro activity to get students thinking about art

- Worksheet with vocabulary for describing art

- Power Point with works of art (some information about titles and artists in the "notes" section of the slide)

- Rubric (in the Power Point)

This activity was designed for my German 4 AP students during our Schönheit und Ästhetik unit. However, it could be modified for a German 2 or 3 class. The directions and rubric are in German.
