Click the PREVIEW link to see more pages, and to make sure this is the educational level you need.

There are 4 mix and match cards for each number.

The cards are all large, 2 to a page.

The cards:

  • A card with the number and written number name
  • A card with a group of dinosaurs
  • A card with ten-frames
  • A card for cutting and pasting (or drawing) the appropriate number of dinosaurs, plus tracing the number.

Mix and match the cards to make centers, games and activities according to your children’s needs. These cards are perfect for group subitizing activities, because they are large.

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.
