What educators are saying

I teach students with moderate to severe disabilities in 9-12 grade. This resource is great for my students. It allows my students to practice working online, and other scaffolds embedded meet their needs. Those supports benefit my students and allow them to access the activity.
This was exactly what I was looking for! Students were able to work independently. I specifically appreciated the revising and editing portion.

    Description

These easy-to-use virtual ELA centers were all made on Google Slides and are therefore the perfect addition to your Google Classroom for distance learning!

    What's Included?

    • 28 Reading Comprehension Passages with open-ended questions - students type directly on the slides as they go
    • 30+ Reading Comprehension Slides with multiple choice questions - students use context clues, determine the meaning of complex vocabulary, make inferences, analyze data, and more! These slides give immediate feedback to students as they answer each question
    • 30 Writing Prompts with corresponding, leveled paragraphs to read, edit, and revise - perfect for differentiation (151 slides!)
    • 27 Interactive Stories (just like Madlibs!) for students to read and fill-in missing parts using grammar skills - if students are completing alone, have them fill in the blanks before they read the story!

Note: These centers will work best for students who can already read at a 2nd grade level or higher. Struggling readers can make use of these centers with support from a teacher or student who can read.
