Description

This interactive Google Slides activity is the perfect way to engage your students with number sense. This product even includes moveable manipulatives! They get to practice using base ten, ten frames, place value, number bonds, expanded form, comparing numbers, expanded form, 10 more, 10 less, 1 less, and 1 more. The slides come in numerical order but you are able to move the slides into a different order to best meet your students' needs. I also include an example slide for students (that may also be deleted if you don't wish for them see it) and a directions slide. All of the hard parts have been done for you!

You can use this activity as a math center, intervention, lesson extension, morning work, or for distance learning with your Google Classroom!

In this product, students will have to work with the number of the day (between 1 and 40) the following ways:

-base ten (moveable manipulates on Google Slide)

-ten frames (moveable manipulates on Google Slide)

-place value

-compare numbers (moveable manipulates on Google Slide)

10 can be thought of as a bundle of ten ones - called a “ten.”
The numbers from 11 to 19 are composed of a ten and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.
The numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine tens (and 0 ones).
Compare two two-digit numbers based on meanings of the tens and ones digits, recording the results of comparisons with the symbols >, =, and <.
