Description

Intro to Skip Counting Lesson and Activities is a Digital Skip Counting Activity to introduce the concept of skip counting to Primary Learners. This Google Slides activity can easily be applied to your Google Classroom. This Interactive Skip Counting Lesson and Activities can easily be applied to your Google Classroom, Digital Math Program, Math Centers, Distanced Learning Program and more. You can use this download for a whole group class lessons/activities, small group instruction, or as an independent Math Center.

In this skip counting activity students will learn what is skip counting and how to skip count using various tools such as a number line and hundred chart . Students will be introduced how to skip count by 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s and demonstrate their understanding in over 20 different tasks.

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
