Description
Do you use Mentor Sentences, a Sentence Study, or a process like Daily Oral Language in your classroom? Spending time studying quality writing from mentor texts has been shown to encourage students to retain and apply grammar knowledge to their own writing.
Using sentences that you pull from various texts, your students will move the provided pieces around to label what they notice or identify. Pieces for both basic learning (think noun, verb, & adjective) and more specific lessons (think types of pronouns or phrases) are included for a total of 185 movable pieces.
These digital pieces allow for both you and your students to interact with the sentence. You can share your screen during a Zoom lesson so students can watch as you label, or you can assign the pieces to students for them to manipulate individually using the included Slides! Movable pieces are great for both practice and assessment!
