What educators are saying

Great resource! Used it during our cookies & smells unit and it was perfect for teaching numerical representation.
My students and I both loved this activity! It was a great way to practice counting and comparing groups of objects. I loved both the digital and print activities included! Thank you!

Description

This download includes two activities that are pre-loaded into three different digital learning platforms. The two gingerbread math activities focus on comparing numbers 0-10 (greater, less, and equal) and on counting and ordering numbers 1-20. Each activity includes a short instructional video followed by interactive, digital activities. There are also three supplemental worksheets for each activity.

After you purchase this resource, you will download a PDF that includes links to access each of these resources in Boom Learning, Google Slides, and Seesaw*. The download PDF file also includes six printable pages for additional skill practice.

What You'll Get:

Gingerbread Men Comparing Numbers 0-10: This activity includes audio-supported slides that ask students to select the number or quantity that is greater or less. It also includes tasks that ask students to move cookies from one pan to another in order to make equal sets. A short instructional video is included at the beginning.

Gingerbread Men Numbers 1-20: This activity includes tasks that allow students to order numbers, count orally, and match numerals to sets. A short instructional video is included at the beginning.

Six printable pages to supplement the digital activities (three pages for each skill).

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
