Description

Word analysis strategies are fun to review with this digital, interactive class game! Students will play in teams to answer 25 standards-based questions to practice using context clues, affixes and more. Use this no-prep activity with your 4th grade students during the year or save for spring test prep!

Students will review:

  • prefixes, suffixes, & roots
  • synonyms & antonyms
  • homophones
  • context clues
  • word reference sources

This activity comes in 2 versions:

  • PowerPoint game
  • Google Slidesâ„¢

Up to 5 teams can play the game at once, and a scoreboard is included. In the PowerPoint version, the questions will disappear from the main screen once they've been used. In the Slides version, this must be updated manually; grey boxes are included that you can drag on top of the questions. Instructions are included for how to set up the game.
