    • 10 Frame Pick, Build, and Cover 
      • Pick a 5, 10, or 20 Frame Card, build it on the game mat, and cover the matching numeral. 
    • Rekenrek Pick, Build, and Cover
      • Pick a Number Rack Card, build it on a rekenrek, and cover the matching numeral

    • 10 Frame Spin and Build
      • Spin the spinner. Build it on the game mat, draw the matching 10 frames, and write the numeral.

    • Spin and Slide with Rekenreks
      • Spin the 1-10 or 11-20 Rekenrek spinner. Make the matching number on the rekenrek, draw the rekenrek, and write the number on the recording sheet

    • Roll, Count, and Cover with Pattern Blocks
      • Roll the die or dice, find the matching number on the design, and cover it with a pattern block

    • Shake and Spill 1-10 and 11-20
      • Shake the target number of counters, write the number of red and yellow counters you have.

    Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
    Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
    Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
    When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
    Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
