Differentiated Context Clues Handout/Lesson

***Note: this differentiated handout can be used by itself OR with the Prezi presentation that has been created to go with it.

With this interactive context clues lesson, you will be focusing on the four major types of context clues- synonym, antonym, explanation, and example. While the Prezi is presented, students will follow along on their own handout that includes all of the information that is on the Prezi in a more organized manner.

Once the entire class has identified the context clues and definition for each vocabulary word and the top section of their worksheet has been filled out, they will then practice their knowledge by completing the "DOL" (demonstration of learning.) I have included three handout outs in order to accommodate all learners. Differentiated in order- page 1 is for the high group, page 2 for the medium, and page 3 for the low.
