Differentiated Close Reading Worksheet; Special Ed; Directly Stated in Text

This worksheet is modified from the middle school reading and science curriculum. It has a short informational passage about Earth.

There are two worksheets that look the same to students. This is an easy way to differentiate because students will not realize that their paper is different from that of their peers. One worksheet requires students to write in the answers, where the other has two answer choices for students to circle.

This is excellent for special education students who require an alternate or modified curriculum. It would be convenient to use as classwork or homework.
