There are three different options for the activity, each using Information Cards on five different hominids.
(Australophethucs, Homo habilis, Homo erectus, Neanderthals, and Homo sapiens)
Activity Option 1: Students answer the comprehension & analysis questions based on a hominid’s information card
Activity Option 2: Students compare different hominids to one another using the organizer provided
- Version A: Students select two (2) different hominids and compare them to one another
- Version B: Students select one hominid and compare them to modern humans
Activity Option 3: Students complete the organizer by describing the differences/changes between the hominids labeled on the left and right
Full Keys are provided for each activity option!
This lesson has been adapted for digital learning. Students can use apps such as LuminPDF or Dochub to complete and submit the fillable PDF files.
