Description
This is a fun and engaging drag and drop activity for 2 players ( digital Dots and Boxes game) on evaluating derivative at a point. It contains a total of 25 problems (the chain rule is required).
Directions: The player chooses which color he/she will play with (blue or yellow). He/she takes his/her turn connecting two dots using one of the lines provided (vertical or horizontal, no diagonal). His/her goal is to finish a box, mark it with his/her color (blue and yellow x are provided for marking), solve the problem in it and earn points that are equal to the absolute value of the answer of the respective problem. The players type their points on the scoreboards on the second slide. If a player create a box he/she takes another turn. The game continues until all the boxes are complete.
Players add up the points each earned. If someone has solved a problem incorrectly he/she does not earn points, but loses 1 point. The winner is the player who has the highest score.
On the third slide players type the answer of each problem on its place and the points that this problem "gives". The teacher will use the fourth slide (key slide) to check the players' results and determine who is the real winner.
