This dental health emergent reader will help your students practice their reading skills, while learning about Dental Health!

This story uses a predictable pattern, "We can ...", statements for taking care of our teeth. The following things are listed in the book: brush our teeth in the morning and at night, use a soft toothbrush with toothpaste, brush up and down, eat healthy foods, drink water , and go to the dentist.

There are ten pages to print. Just fold in half and have your students color the pictures and read the pages aloud.

This “ Dental Health Write the Room” activity would be great for any literacy center. Your students will look around the room and find the pictures and write the word on their recording sheet. This activity includes 12 pictures.

Feel free to print these cards onto card stock and laminate for durability.
