Description

Teeth, Caring for Teeth, and Dental Health are all covered in this 8 day integrated unit.

Early Childhood (kindergarten and first grade) learners will use an inquiry approach to learning all about teeth and how to properly care for teeth.

Included:
8 lessons that integrate National Health and Common Core ELA standards (flexible and you could pick and choose for some lessons)

Lesson topics include:
Healthy vs. unhealthy
Parts of the mouth/tooth
Observations of sugar on teeth
How to keep teeth clean
How to brush teeth (writing focus)

Teaching others about keeping teeth healthy
