Description

These fun decoding words activities will help your students make the connection between letters, sounds, and words. This segmenting words resource is great for helping students to visually see how words are made by physically sounding out and moving letters to make the words.

  • Use these pages for reinforcing letter/sound correspondence and segmenting words. - They can be used for word work, RTI, literacy centers, homework, and much more.

Included in this decoding resource:

- 16 different segmenting words pages are included, each page is available in color and black and white.

- Copy for students individually, or laminate for use multiple times. If laminated, have students use the letter tiles and then write the words with dry-erase markers.

- Each page requires the students to cut out the letter tiles and place or glue them in order as they sound out the picture on the page. Once the word is sounded out, they write the word as well.

Thank you for stopping by! Enjoy!
