    Description

Introducing the ultimate tool for mastering decoding multisyllabic words in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade English Language Arts - our foldable syllables and syllable cards! Build multisyllabic words by sorting through individual open and closed syllables and piecing the picture together, or segment syllables on the printable accordion- both great for independent work, centers, or small groups! Create 2 and 3 syllable words for the school subjects- art, math, music, and Social Studies! View the preview to visualize both uses!

Each syllable is written on an individual card with a portion of a picture. When the word is complete, the picture is whole! You can use this product in two different ways:

    1. Fold on the lines to create a word “accordion” to bend and stretch the word. Stretch the accordion to segment the sounds, then blend them together by pushing the accordion together and completing the picture.

    2. Cut the syllables into individual cards. Mix the cards together, then build the words by finding individual syllables that go together. The word will be correct when the picture is complete.
