What educators are saying

My 7th graders were really having trouble with decimal place value, which made reading decimals and converting decimals into fractions both really complicated for them. They used this resource very consistently once I hung these posters.
I just love the visual with this poster. It is super clear and there wasn't a lot of extra stuff put on it.

Description

Are you looking for decimal place value posters to display in your classroom? These decimal place value posters are designed to use in your classroom to help students see various models (base ten blocks and decimal squares) to represent the following decimal numbers.

ones

one tenth

one hundredth

one thousandth

Also included:

decimal definition

two blank place value charts, one up to hundredths, one up to thousandths.

equivalent decimals

Please check the preview to see the posters. Using base ten blocks I have shown the one being represented in two ways. One way is with the unit cube representing the one and the other way is with the flat representing the one. I find this helpful when teaching students that a decimal number can be modelled in different ways depending on their choice of the unit.

This posters are made using color clip art and are meant to be printed in color for the best quality.
