This is the perfect visual to help students understand what comes in between whole numbers. I have used this for 2-3 years and it helps every time.
Description
Our 4th grade students were having trouble being able to visualize the decimals on a number line. We wanted to make a visual that the students could unfold and be able to see that one whole is made up of tenths and one tenth is made up of hundredths. This visual has really helped our students, and I hope it can help your students as well. We made ours and put them in our math interactive notebooks for future reference.
