    Description

The Learning League has mysteries to solve that require the use of your students' math skills!! These math questions have been tailored specifically for 4th graders in the month of December, so give your classroom explorers a chance to review their knowledge and simultaneously go on an adventure!

You get the added bonus of incorporating cross-curricular elements into your class when you purchase these resources! Half of these mysteries focus on science, and the other half have a social studies theme.

As of December 2019, there are two mysteries included in this bundle, so you could adventure twice a month. By December 2020, there will be four resources, a chance to solve a mystery every single week!!

**Update: The new audio feature each mystery offers takes more time than what I had originally calculated (2020, am I right?), so the upcoming Learning League Adventures are a bit behind schedule, but they'll be here soon! In the meantime, take advantage of this current low price, and try out my FREE mysteries in both math and reading!!***

    Learning League Adventures included:

    1. The Case of the Phony Pilot
    2. The Mountain Avalanche Mystery
    3. Mystery of the American Immigrant: coming soon
    4. Case of the Disappearing Dogs: coming soon

As additional adventures are added, the price of the bundle will increase accordingly. By purchasing the bundle at the current price, you will receive the two future mysteries FOR FREE.

Also available for 3rd and 5th grade.

Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems. For example, find the width of a rectangular room given the area of the flooring and the length, by viewing the area formula as a multiplication equation with an unknown factor.
An angle is measured with reference to a circle with its center at the common endpoint of the rays, by considering the fraction of the circular arc between the points where the two rays intersect the circle. An angle that turns through 1/360 of a circle is called a β€œone-degree angle,” and can be used to measure angles.
Measure angles in whole-number degrees using a protractor. Sketch angles of specified measure.
Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers, using strategies based on place value and the properties of operations. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
Find whole-number quotients and remainders with up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
