Do you want to set high-expectations from the very first day of school? Be sure to greet students at the door on the first day and give them this engaging circuit-style activity. It breaks the ice and sets the tone for your academic expectations. There are three different levels for your Algebra 2, PreCalculus, or AP Calculus students.

This is a self-checking assignment in a “Circuit-style” training. Students start their brain training in Cell #1, then search for the answer. They label that block as Cell #2 and continue to work until they complete the entire exercise for the Brain Training Activity.

While you are busy with first-day tasks, your students can work cooperatively on this course appropriate practice. This will set the tone that students should WALK IN WORKING EVERY DAY and use the completion as a first homework assignment.
