Description
A Readers' Theater based on Danse Macabre and Halloween night! 25 parts will help your students be a part of the legendary night. Find out what Death, the skeletons, and ghosts REALLY get up to on Halloween night!
My students love acting, although we don't always have as much time to dedicate to drama as I would like. I wrote this script to go along with our Danse Macabre unit so that students could envision the story more deeply while listening to the piece. Every class I did this with loved it.
This download includes a 14 page original script, as well as two versions of the script. One uses the traditional term "Death" as a character, and one uses the term "Concertmaster." I use the word "concertmaster" with my younger students and students who may be sensitive to death.
This resource is a great way to allow students to be a part of the legendary Halloween night inspired by Camille Saint-Saens' Danse Macabre!
