Dances with Wolves comprehension questions, vocabulary and writing prompt!

Have you seen Dances with Wolves!? It is a favorite of students! It won 7 academy awards and is one of the best movies on Native American cultures. This is a great film for American History and the Western Expansion or for a class on World Cultures or a film class covering academy award winning movies or even an English class dealing with stereotypes. There are many possibilities! Enclosed you will find a sample parent permission slip (PG-13 film), teacher instructions, a vocabulary worksheet, a writing prompt, comprehension questions and an answer sheet. This is a great culminating assignment in a Native American mini unit that is also available on my store! If you get the mini unit you do not need to purchase this lesson.
