    Are you looking for a quick and simple way to teach 3rd grade grammar skills on a daily basis? This bundle is an ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR of daily sentence correction aligned to the 3rd grade Language standards! Designed to be completed in 5 minutes or so, students read through 3 sentences with mistakes and make the appropriate corrections. The sentences grow in complexity with students throughout the school year.

    Included in the download:

    • 40 weeks of daily sentence correction divided into 5 eight-week booklets
    • Printable option for Half Page OR Whole Page booklets
    • Link to Google Slides for online learning
    • Common Core alignment guide so teachers can track what standards are being addressed each day
    • Complete answer keys to make things as simple as possible for the teacher

    What to expect:

    • Books 1 & 2 - Students correct 3 sentences each day
    • Book 3 - Students correct 3 sentences each day for 4 days/week and correct one paragraph per week
    • Books 4-5: Students correct 3 sentence each day for 3 days/week, one paragraph per week, and one standards-aligned language activity per week

    The booklets can be printed with the Day of the Week at the top, OR you can choose to print the booklet with Day 1, Day 2 at the top. (This is especially useful if you don't do DOL everyday.)

    How to Access Slides for Online Learning: A link to the Google Slides is included within the PDF. Open the file and click the link on Page 2. Teachers will be forced to "make a copy" into their Google Drive. From there, teachers can share their copy to their students. Text boxes are already inserted for students.

    Learning targets addressed include:

    • L.3.1.B Form and use regular and irregular plural nouns.

    • L.3.1.D Form and use regular and irregular verbs.

    • L.3.1.E Form and use the simple verb tenses.

    • L.3.1.F Ensure subject-verb and pronoun-antecedent agreement.

    • L.3.1.G Form and use comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs, and choose between them depending on what is to be modified.

    • L.3.1.H Use coordinating and subordinating conjunctions.

    • L.3.1.I Produce simple, compound, and complex sentences.

    • L.3.2.A Capitalize appropriate words in titles.

    • L.3.2.B Use commas in addresses.

    • L.3.2.C Use commas and quotation marks in dialogue.
