Description
It's the end of the year…the perfect time for a comprehensive math review! This unit is the fifth in my Fifth Grade Daily Math series. This unit contains 20 days of End of Year Review for 5th grade students. These sheets are created to provide students with independent practice of the fifth grade common core standards by the continued study of multi-digit multiplication & division, fractions, volume, the coordinate plane, & more!
Some of the specific topics covered in this packet include:
*Multiplying multi-digit whole numbers
*Finding whole-number quotients of whole numbers
*Writing simple expressions
*Solving multi-step equations with parentheses
*Generating numerical patterns
*Recognizing that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right and 1/10 of what it represents in the place to its left
*Adding, subtracting, multiplying, & dividing decimals to hundredths
*Reading, writing & comparing decimals to thousandths
*Rounding whole numbers & decimals
*Adding & subtracting fractions with unlike denominators
*Multiplying a fraction or whole number by a fraction
*Converting among different-sized standard measurement units
*Measuring volumes by counting unit cubes
*Using multiplication to solve for the volume of a right rectangular prism
*Graphing points on the coordinate plane
*Classifying two-dimensional figures
Each page in this packet contains two days of Daily Math, with five questions for each day. Each day covers various Common Core Standards, in the attempt to provide students with a comprehensive review of skills.
These pages can be provided to students at the beginning of a math period, be placed in a math center for independent work, or can be given as homework to students in need of a skill review.
