Daily Common Core Reading for 2nd Graders {45 passages for the 1st nine weeks}

Do your students need daily reading practice aligned to the common core standards? Do you need common assessments for reading comprehension? These passages are designed to be used during the first nine weeks of school.
The first ten passages have a back to school theme.
The next twenty are about September holidays, apples, fall, camping, and community helpers.
The final fifteen are about holidays in early October, fall, and fire safety.
Each passage has 5 comprehension questions. The questions will focus on one common core standard.
Of the 45 passages, 22 passages focus on the Literature reading standards and 23 focus on the Informational reading standards.
There are also a wide variety of genres represented: poetry, fables, fairy tales, advertisements, biographies, letters, narratives, and more!
