This is a great resource, especially for those new to teaching total language and the CAFE and Daily 5.
Description
This is an excellent combination of both the Daily 5 and CAFE strategies, melded into one easy to use, scripted and fully editable 20 day lesson plan!
After searching for a concise, yet adequate resource that combines both methods effectively, we decided to create our own using parts from each book and adding in our own touch, as well. Page numbers to the books are referenced, and section headings are highlighted to correspond to each resource. Scripted sections for possible teacher talk are italicized.
This is an awesome resource! Use as is, or start with this structure, then edit it and make it your own. ENJOY!!!
**Please note, this resource now includes 2 versions of the entire guide; one with references to the 2nd Edition of The Daily 5, published in 2014 (pages 2-52 of this document); and one with page references to the 1st Edition of The Daily 5, published in 2006 (pages 53-103 of this document).
