Description
Students will have a blast building emojis on the computer as they learn the relationship between DNA, genes, protein, and traits. There are 6 emojis to choose from - build one or create the whole collection! Each emoji has a gene for color, eyes, mouth, and hair. First, students read the DNA sequences and then use the chart to see which "proteins" will be made. Next, they determine the traits that will develop as a result of the proteins that were made. Finally, students build the emoji by copying and pasting the traits from the "Emoji Parts" slide. Answer key and student example included!
