Description
If you find yourself at the end of first semester with both you and your students in need of a little brain break, then this is for you. This fun activity provides a "fact or fiction" list of 11 interesting Christmas and holiday celebrations around the world, and requires students to determine if they think the traditions are indeed fact or fiction. They're all fact, but it's easy for students to think that eating fried caterpillars is not a real Christmas treat!
This activity includes the traditions of: Krampus in Austria and the Czech Republic, Kentucky Fried Chicken in Japan, fried worms in South Africa, the poop log in Spain and more!
**This freebie is a ZIP file with two PDFs; they are not editable. This is to help protect my work. If you are looking for something editable, this product does not give that capability. However, all PDFs can be used with distance learning, by using the mark up tools within the PDF.**
Thank you so much for checking out my freebie!
If you need any other lessons, maybe you'd like "Bertie's Christmas Eve" by Saki or some poetry analysis with "Auld Lang Syne!"
