Crescendo! The Power of Music Documentary Worksheet

This resource includes a chart learners fill in about the students featured in the film on page one and four shorter questions on page two to create a personal connection for students. The documentary has a 1 hour, 25 minute run time. Students in the documentary play band and orchestra instruments; the three main students in the documentary play violin, viola, and trombone. As of the date of this resource being posted, the documentary is available on Netflix. This activity is good for times when music classrooms are unable to make music during testing or during a teacher's absence if there is access to the documentary. Please pre-watch the documentary if you plan to use it! My students filled out the first 4 rows on the chart while watching and completed the 5th chart row and answered 4 questions on back after movie was over.
