Homonym Happenings (3 pages)
The purpose of this activity is to engage your students as they learn about homonyms. This is a fun writing activity to teach homonyms. This is a 3-page document that is intended to help students understand homonyms. The first part has students circling the correct homonym in a sentence such as "The captain of the ship stayed on (course, coarse)".

The second activity will have your students read a passage and circle the homonym mistakes.

The final part has students write a story using homonyms. Over 70 homonyms are included for your students to use. This document includes an answer key.
