What educators are saying

This was perfect for my High School Business class. My students really enjoyed this and it made my life so much easier than coming up with something from scratch! Thank you!

Description

This project is a great way for students to learn about the 4 P's of Marketing while being creative and innovative. The students will create a board game from scratch (needs to be an original idea). They will design a box, board base, and promotional materials. The objective is for the students to understand how design and appeal affect the overall marketing of a product; particularly a game. The assignment is fun, engaging, and kinesthetic. It's a great way to implement learning and get students out of a desk!

***See attached pictures for student work!

Lesson Objective:

-Understand the 4 P's of marketing

-Analyze how design and appeal affect marketing

What's Included:

  • Student Instruction Sheet w/ Step-by-Step Guide
  • Student Worksheet
  • Rubric
  • Student Examples

***Disclaimer: If you haven't gone through Canva.com with your students before, you may want to look at doing that before implementing this lesson. While this assignment allows students to better understand Canva functions, I would recommend having the students "create" an account. Included in this resource is my FREE Canva guide.
