This product was designed as part of a "First Week of School" Bundle to introduce your Government / Civics course - to get to know your students and how they interact with each other, and to have them get to know each other.

It focuses on Community building, communication skills, and critical thinking skills.

This Product includes the following:

• Introduction prompt (colonists on a new planet!) and examples to use in class

This activity gets them thinking about WHY we need governments and how it effects their daily lives! This product, similar to the "Murder Mystery Game" can also be used as an "ice-breaker" activity for a variety of situations or as sub plans ;)
