Description
Captivate your anatomy students and spice up your skeletal system unit with this hands-on, bone-breaking, fully-prepped lesson. All you need to do is read the teacher instructions, grab some scissors and glue, and press print! No prior teaching required!
Part 1: In this activity, you will provide your students with the Create-A-Fracture packet which includes 14 fracture definitions and a space to glue each type of broken bone. Students will cut out 14 humerus bones (included in this resource) and cut each bone to properly match the fracture definition provided.
Part 2: After you check their work using the provided key, your students will step their learning up in the next challenge – by creating a fracture that fits 5 or 6 terms. They’ll be so proud that they can create a complete, open, displaced, oblique, segmental fracture! There are 7 challenges for them to complete. The
