Counting Coins Interactive Notebook

This product is full of different interactive notebook activities related to counting coins on a very basic level. It is meant to be used with a kindergarten class who is just beginning to recognize the different types of coins and their values. There are no activities that involve counting mixes of coins such as what is the value of 2 nickels and 2 quarters. There are sorting activities, and activities that ask the value of 2 nickels and 2 quarters separately.

The Contents by page number:
1: Sort the coins by image
2: Sort the coins by value
3: Match the word to the coin/value
4-6: Skip counting practice by 1s, 5s, 10s and 25s.
7-10: Counting value of coins (separated, one kind of coin per page)
10-15: Counting value of coins (mixed coins per page, but never adding different coin values together)

I use this product largely as homework for my kindergarteners, but also sometimes as classwork. They enjoy the cutting and pasting and getting to lift open the flaps. I hope your students enjoy it, too!
