Description

These counting clip cards are the perfect activity to practice counting and number recognition in Pre-K and Kindergarten. This engaging activity makes a great math center or morning bin all year long.

To use this math center, the children will count the objects and clip a clothespin to the numeral that shows how many. If you don't have clothespins just add seasonal erasers, pom poms, counting chips, or any other math manipulative to cover the correct answer.

This math center can be modified to fit the needs of your students. Simply add or remove cards, as needed.

This activity includes:

  • Fall themed clip cards (1-20)
  • Winter themed clip cards (1-20)
  • Spring themed clip cards (1-20)
  • Summer themed clip cards (1-20)
  • 4 enrichment worksheets (with answer keys)
  • 4 "I Can" posters

With these counting task cards, your students can practice counting and number recognition all year long!

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
